For AI Agents

Hand your agent this brief or the ReUI MCP, not a screenshot. Installs with a ReUI Pro or Ultimate license.

Best for: A post-incident read of one rolled-back release: how much latency it added per sample over the old version, and how far past the limit

When to use

  • Bars and a line on one time axis, such as revenue and opex columns under an operating margin line
  • A measure against its goal or limit, such as closed sales against a dashed goal or latency past a limit
  • Cash or liquidity flowing in and out by period, over the balance those flows add up to

When not to use

  • Releases still moving through their stages, with live meters and Promote gates: use the Release Lanes block
  • An SLO error budget spent down day by day with a forecast of when it runs out: use the Error Budget Burn block
  • One volume series alone, with no goal or baseline to compare against: use the Area Chart blocks
  • Two or more series drawn only as strokes across shared time buckets: use the Line Chart blocks

Agent notes

  • releaseP95 in data.ts holds the measured p95 per sample, and plotRows derives p50 and p99 from it through each PERCENTILES ratio and slope
  • plotRows splits every column into base, under and over against the percentile's limit; SEGMENT_TONES in value-faces.tsx colours all three
  • MOTION_STYLE raises the columns in one sweep on mount and on Replay; a percentile switch only crossfades, and reduced motion keeps a short fade
  • Every block plots in a recharts ComposedChart in the shadcn ChartContainer; a new series is one more Bar, Area or Line child with a dataKey

Shadcn Canary Rollback Block

Canary latency chart with stacked baseline and regression columns, breach stats and a rollback track. Part of the ReUI Shadcn Composed Chart blocks collection.

Canary latency for a rolled-back release, one stacked column per sample: the old version's baseline, the regression and the excess past a dashed limit, under a stage track ending on the rollback. Percentile switch, layers, replay and CSV export.

It is composed from Badge, Button, Button Group, Chart, Dropdown Menu, Frame, Icon Tile, Toggle Group, and more, so every part of it is a primitive you can restyle with your own design tokens.

What You Can Build With the Canary Rollback Block

  • Install it with the ReUI registry command in the toolbar above, then swap the placeholder content, data wiring, and business logic for your own.
  • Compare it across all eight ReUI styles and both the Base UI and Radix bases in the customizer before committing to one direction.
  • Combine it with the other Shadcn Composed Chart blocks to assemble a full screen instead of a single section.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I use the Canary Rollback block?

Use it for a post-incident read of one rolled-back release: how much latency it added per sample over the old version, and how far past the limit.

The Composed Chart category fits:

  • Bars and a line on one time axis, such as revenue and opex columns under an operating margin line
  • A measure against its goal or limit, such as closed sales against a dashed goal or latency past a limit
  • Cash or liquidity flowing in and out by period, over the balance those flows add up to

For releases still moving through their stages, with live meters and Promote gates, use the Release Lanes block. For an SLO error budget spent down day by day with a forecast of when it runs out, use the Error Budget Burn block. For one volume series alone, with no goal or baseline to compare against, use the Area Chart blocks. For two or more series drawn only as strokes across shared time buckets, use the Line Chart blocks.

What is the Canary Rollback block built with?

Canary Rollback uses Badge, Button, Button Group, Chart, Dropdown Menu, Frame, Icon Tile, Toggle Group, Tooltip. Installing the block through the ReUI registry pulls those dependencies in for you.

Can I restyle the Canary Rollback block?

Yes. It reads your design tokens, so switching style, radius, base color, font, or icon library in the customizer restyles it without touching the markup.

How should I use Shadcn composed chart blocks in a real project?

Treat them as structured starting points. Keep the layout, hierarchy, and interaction ideas that work, then replace placeholder content, data wiring, and business logic with your own product requirements.
