For AI Agents

Hand your agent this brief or the ReUI MCP, not a screenshot. Installs with a ReUI Pro or Ultimate license.

When to use

  • A public plans section with 3 or 4 tiers side by side, each with a price, its inclusions and its own button
  • A plan comparison matrix that lines up each tier's limits and included features row by row
  • An upgrade dialog or paywall inside the product, where a user picks a plan and a billing period

When not to use

  • A back office where staff edit the plan catalog, coupons or a customer's subscription: use the Billing blocks
  • Store products weighed side by side on specs and star ratings before a purchase: use the Comparison blocks
  • One plan choice made as a single input inside a signup or checkout form: use the Radio Group component

Agent notes

  • Each plan's href in PLANS is a hash placeholder that its plan button links to; point it at your signup, checkout or sales route
  • Plan prices print through a currency formatter pinned to en-US dollars with maximumFractionDigits 0; edit it for cents or another currency

Shadcn Pricing Blocks: Sections, Comparison Tables and Upgrade Dialogs

A pricing block has 2 questions to answer at a glance: what each plan costs on the billing period the reader picked, and what the next tier adds. The 8 blocks here answer them in 3 shapes: page sections of plan cards, comparison tables that go feature by feature, and upgrade dialogs that open inside the product.

6 blocks are page sections. 4 set their plans as cards or columns under a monthly or yearly Tabs switch with a saving Badge, 1 lays 4 plans over a full feature comparison with a sticky price head, and 1 sets seat prices by team size. The 2 dialogs open over an Empty stage: 1 pairs a RadioGroup plan rail with the chosen plan's detail, the other sets 3 Frame plan cards over a collapsible feature table and the workspace's current usage.

Every plan a billing switch reprices takes its yearly price from the monthly rate and 1 setting in the block's data file, a discount percent or a number of free months, so plans, rates and copy are a data edit rather than a markup edit.

  • Agency Pricing Dark pricing section with 3 plan cards, billing tabs and a customer logo row
  • Upgrade Plan Dialog Pricing dialog with a plan rail, billing tabs and a plan detail panel
  • Usage Limit Upgrade Pricing dialog with framed plan cards, billing tabs and a feature table

What Each Pricing Block Ships

  • 4 tiers and a seat stepper 4 plan columns in 1 Card under a monthly or yearly toggle with a Save 20% Badge, where a ReUI Number Field sets 2 to 20 seats and reprices the Team plan.
  • A comparison table with a sticky price head 4 plans over 4 feature sections with IconTile bands. Names, prices and buttons stick as the rows scroll, allowances print over their metered rate, labels open hints in a Popover, and a ToggleGroup shows 1 plan at a time in a narrow container.
  • Seat pricing by team size A customer quote over 3 plans. Solo, Startup, Growth and Enterprise Tabs set the seat count and a lower seat rate at each size, strike the list price and switch off the rows that need teammates, over 13 feature rows with Tooltip hints.
  • 3 plan cards over a customer logo row Flat Basic, per-seat Business and quoted Enterprise on a dot grain, under Monthly or Annual tabs with a 20% Off chip. A Best Value badge straddles the Business card, and check or minus rows show what each plan leaves out.
  • 4 plan cards and 2 help links Free, Team, Growth and Enterprise share 8 check or minus rows, Monthly or Yearly tabs with a Save 25% chip reprice Team and Growth, and a dotted card links a feature comparison and a pricing FAQ through Item rows.
  • A dark section with toned cards 3 plans that stay dark in either theme, each card washed in its own tone with a dot field. The 2 Months Free yearly tab reprices the base rate and the extra seat fee and shows the yearly total. Each tier above Basic lists what it adds to the one below.
  • A plan picker dialog A Dialog with a RadioGroup rail of 3 plans beside the chosen plan's price and features. Monthly or Yearly tabs reprice the rail and the plan, and the footer announces the bill whenever the plan or the period changes.
  • An upgrade dialog at a usage limit 3 Frame plan cards side by side under billing tabs, an All Features table behind a Collapsible, and a strip with the current plan and the bookings left. On a narrow screen a plan rail picks 1 card and the footer holds the action.

Layout, Billing and Keyboard Behaviour

  • The 6 page sections respond to their container, not the viewport, so the plans reflow by the width of the slot you drop them into. The 2 dialogs size to the window instead.
  • In 4 of the sections the cards or columns share subgrid rows, so names, prices, buttons and feature lists stay level across a row even when a list wraps.
  • The billing and team size tabs activate on focus, so the arrow keys switch the period or the size straight away.
  • A left-out row also reads Not included to a screen reader, and a recommended badge drawn for the eye is repeated in words in the plan heading.
  • The 2 dialogs keep their header in place and scroll the body under it, and they open with focus on the dialog rather than on the first tab.
  • Prices print through a pinned en-US currency formatter with no decimals, so the server and the browser render the same string.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pricing block should I start from?

For a pricing page, start from a section: plan cards when 3 or 4 plans fit side by side, the comparison table when buyers weigh limits row by row, and the team size table when the price is per seat. For an upgrade prompt inside the product, start from a dialog: the plan rail suits a long feature list per plan, and the framed cards suit a usage limit.

Does the billing toggle change every plan?

No. It reprices the plans billed by rate, while a free plan, a quoted plan and the yearly-only Enterprise plan in the 4 card section hold their price. Each repriced plan takes its yearly price from 1 setting in the block's data file, a discount percent or a number of free months.

How does per-seat pricing work?

The 4-tier card section sets 2 to 20 seats with a ReUI Number Field and reprices Team at $25 a seat a month, or $20 billed yearly. The team size table sets 1, 5, 15 or 40 seats from its tabs, with a lower seat rate at each size. The dark section adds a fee per extra seat on top of a workspace rate, and 2 card sections print a plain per seat price.

How do I install a pricing block?

Open the block on its page, copy the install command (the shadcn CLI with the @reui registry and your license key) or the AI prompt, and run it in your project, for example pnpm dlx shadcn@latest add @reui/pricing-7 for the plan picker dialog. The block, its fixtures and every ReUI and shadcn dependency land as editable source in a single run.

Is a license needed?

Pricing blocks are part of ReUI Pro: a single payment, lifetime updates, every block in every style. The ReUI primitives and the free examples they build on install with no license.
