# Adoption Rate block

> Feature adoption stat card with segmented stacked indigo bar chart and actions dropdown

Single metric card showing a large 84% adoption rate over a segmented bar chart of graduated indigo blocks, plus a header actions menu. ReUI Frame with shadcn Button and DropdownMenu. For KPI, analytics, and feature usage dashboards.

- Type: Pro block
- Category: [Stats](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/stats.md)
- Page: https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/stats/stats-14
- MCP: `get_block("stats-14")`
- Built with: Button, Dropdown Menu, Frame
- Installs with a ReUI Pro or Ultimate license; setup: https://web.dev.reui.io/docs/license-setup

## Best for

An oversized adoption percentage over 8 block columns whose filled runs shrink left to right, shaded dark to light indigo by row

## Agent notes

- Replace `adoptionRate` and `bars`; the percentage is a typed string and is not computed from the `bars` heights
- `getBarColor` holds only 6 indigo shades, so a `bars` value above 6 yields an undefined class on the extra blocks
- The header menu's `DropdownMenuItem` entries are inert and read Run Manual Check and View History, so rename and wire them

## When not to use

- A trend over time drawn as a sparkline or filled area under a value: use [KPI Trend Cards](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/chart/sparkline/chart-15.md) (`get_block("chart-15")`)
- A donut or bar graph with axes, a legend and tooltips: use [Chart](https://web.dev.reui.io/components/chart.md) (`get_component("chart")`)

## Install

```bash
npx shadcn@latest add @reui/stats-14
```

## About Stats blocks

### When to use

- A row of 3 or 4 KPI tiles to sit above the content of a page you already have
- One metric card that pairs a headline figure with a meter, a split bar or supporting rows
- A card already written for one topic: leads, tasks, quota, compliance, renewals, adoption, balance or capacity

### When not to use

- Tiles on a dotted, halftone or line grid backdrop, or records such as profiles or jobs: use the [Card blocks](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/card.md)
- A metric whose value carries a small trend drawn beside or under it: use the [Sparkline blocks](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/chart/sparkline.md)
- A whole overview page with a header, summary tiles and a work list or trend under them: use the [Dashboard blocks](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/dashboard.md)

### Agent notes

- Each page.tsx only centers `Stats` in a padded wrapper; mount `Stats` from components/stats.tsx inside your own layout
- `Stats` takes no props, fetches nothing and wires no handler, so add props for your own figures and callbacks

Every ReUI item has a twin like this one; the index is https://web.dev.reui.io/llms.txt. Agents with the ReUI MCP (https://web.dev.reui.io/docs/mcp) get the same guidance from the getters named above.
