# API Quota Usage block

> API call quota usage card with progress bar, billed cost, and renewal date

Single-stat usage card tracking API calls against a monthly quota: Progress bar for used vs total, dollar cost, remaining free calls, and a renewal-date footer. ReUI Frame, shadcn Progress and Button. Usage meter, billing, plan limit.

- Type: Pro block
- Category: [Stats](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/stats.md)
- Page: https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/stats/stats-11
- MCP: `get_block("stats-11")`
- Built with: Button, Frame, Progress
- Installs with a ReUI Pro or Ultimate license; setup: https://web.dev.reui.io/docs/license-setup

## Best for

A quota meter of API calls used against a monthly cap, with a dollar cost, calls left and a dashed renewal date strip

## Agent notes

- Replace `used`, `total` and `renewalDate` in data.ts; the percent and the free calls left both derive from `used` and `total`
- The dollar cost multiplies `used` by a fixed 0.002 rate inside stats.tsx, so feed in your real billed amount
- The `Button` labeled View API usage has no onClick or href, so wire it to your usage page

## When not to use

- A full billing settings page with plan facts, usage counters and an invoice table: use [Billing Settings](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/profile/profile-8.md) (`get_block("profile-8")`)
- Two progress measures side by side for leads, one as a bar and one as a segmented meter: use [Leads Overview](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/stats/stats-4.md) (`get_block("stats-4")`)

## Install

```bash
npx shadcn@latest add @reui/stats-11
```

## About Stats blocks

### When to use

- A row of 3 or 4 KPI tiles to sit above the content of a page you already have
- One metric card that pairs a headline figure with a meter, a split bar or supporting rows
- A card already written for one topic: leads, tasks, quota, compliance, renewals, adoption, balance or capacity

### When not to use

- Tiles on a dotted, halftone or line grid backdrop, or records such as profiles or jobs: use the [Card blocks](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/card.md)
- A metric whose value carries a small trend drawn beside or under it: use the [Sparkline blocks](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/chart/sparkline.md)
- A whole overview page with a header, summary tiles and a work list or trend under them: use the [Dashboard blocks](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/dashboard.md)

### Agent notes

- Each page.tsx only centers `Stats` in a padded wrapper; mount `Stats` from components/stats.tsx inside your own layout
- `Stats` takes no props, fetches nothing and wires no handler, so add props for your own figures and callbacks

Every ReUI item has a twin like this one; the index is https://web.dev.reui.io/llms.txt. Agents with the ReUI MCP (https://web.dev.reui.io/docs/mcp) get the same guidance from the getters named above.
