# Fitness Stats block

> Compact two-column metric stat grid with large value, unit, and muted label tiles

Two-column grid of metric tiles, each pairing a large value with a small unit and a muted label, for KPI summaries, fitness and activity stats, and dashboard quick stats. Built on ReUI Frame and FramePanel.

- Type: Pro block
- Category: [Card](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/card.md)
- Page: https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/card/card-40
- MCP: `get_block("card-40")`
- Built with: Frame
- Installs with a ReUI Pro or Ultimate license; setup: https://web.dev.reui.io/docs/license-setup

## Best for

A 2 by 2 tile grid of figures with a unit suffix such as bpm or km, for fitness and activity readouts

## Agent notes

- Replace `CARDS` in data.tsx; each reading splits into a `value`, a muted `unit` and a `text` label
- The grid stays `grid-cols-2` at every width, so a 3rd or 5th reading leaves an empty cell in the last row
- `CardGrid` keys each tile by its `text` label, so 2 readings with the same label collide

## When not to use

- Readings that each need a small trend line with a hover tooltip: use [KPI Trend Cards](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/chart/sparkline/chart-15.md) (`get_block("chart-15")`)
- Figures that each pair an icon tile with a status badge: use [Support Metrics](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/stats/stats-12.md) (`get_block("stats-12")`)

## Install

```bash
npx shadcn@latest add @reui/card-40
```

## About Card blocks

### When to use

- Rows and grids of KPI tiles, each a value and a label with an optional trend badge or icon
- Grids of small linked cards for features, setup steps, guides, integrations or partner logos
- One record or offer per card: a profile, applicant, delivery, meeting, job, asset price or promo

### When not to use

- A metric panel with a progress bar, a segmented gauge or supporting rows under the total: use the [Stats blocks](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/stats.md)
- A KPI whose trend over time is plotted, with a period switcher or tooltips: use the [Area Chart blocks](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/chart/area-chart.md)
- A whole overview page: a header, a row of KPI tiles, then a work list or trend panel: use the [Dashboard blocks](https://web.dev.reui.io/blocks/application/dashboard.md)

### Agent notes

- Every block centers itself in a padded `min-h-svh` wrapper in page.tsx or its root component; remove it when the card goes inside your own page
